(98-1)  ESTEP:
Rebeckah ESTEP died 1822 in Rowan Co., NC and her son Moses ESTEP paid for the "keeping" of his mother.  I would like to know who this Rebeckah was and which ESTEP she married.  Since Moses ESTEP was born c1774-1784 in NC, his mother Rebeckah, being at least 15 years old, would be born as late as 1769.  Suggestions and/or information about Rebeckah ESTEP are greatly appreciated.  Also, see "Looking for my Rebeckah Estep."

[Follow-up to query #98-3 by Nova A. Lemons:  James was the son of Moses and Elizabeth (Jones) Estep.  He was born in Rowan Co., NC and lived in Lauderdale Co., AL where he may have married Winney Cole around 1836-37.]

(98-4)  ESTEP - MOORE - ADAMS:
Looking for a positive connection to Jacob ESTEP's father.  Jacob (born c1792) married Nancy MOORE 1816 in Rowan Co., NC and moved to Wilkes Co., NC from Rowan Co. with his father-in-law, Sterling MOORE.  I have info. connecting Jacob to Samuel ESTEP and Susanna ADAMS as well as Thomas ESTEP, Jr., but both connections make it clear that they have no documented evidence to support these connections.  Would appreciate any information.

(98-5)  ESTEP - SEANEY - HOLMES - WELLS:
Looking for the Honor ESTEP who married Owen SEANEY c1780 probably in Rowan Co., NC.  I have an old reference that says her father was Jacob ESTEP, though many modern searchers of the SEANEY line believe it to be Thomas ESTEP.  Have a copy of some records by Richard BROWN, Jr. in 1898 that state Luranah HOLMES was the daughter of William and Honor (WELLS) HOLMES.  She was born 8 Feb 1742.  I know a lot of people have stated that her name is Susanah and that she married Thomas ESTEP, but the name is clearly Luranah.  Can anyone help clear this up?
