Shadrack ESTEP (b. 1 Jul 1791 in ? - d. after 1823) married Elizabeth HUNT (b. c1772-1797 - d. after 1823), daughter of John HUNT and Mary OWEN, on 3 Mar 1809 in Floyd Co., KY. They had 2 daughters that we know of -- Priscilla (b. 1814 Scott Co., KY) and Nancy (b. 1822 Lewiston, WV). [Note by Nova: The Estep book by Vidal et al listed the children as Priscilla (wife of Fielding Baldwin), Owen, Quillen, Mary (wife of Joseph Nelson), Nancy (wife of Logan Linville), Sherwood O., Elias, Mesias, Stephen B., and Joseph N.]

Searching for more information on the ESTEP line. This is as far back as I can go and wish to know the parents of the Reverend William ESTEP of Panther, McDowell Co., WV. Rev. William "Will" ESTEP married Barbara DOTSON, dau. of William E. "Billy Arnold" DOTSON and Elizabeth BUMGARDNER. They had 9 children: Sarah, Willie, Rebecca, Mary, Lydia, Wallace, Hannibal, Matilda and William Riley ESTEP II, who is my grandfather. He was born 21 Aug 1893 and died 6 Jul 1982. He married Florence COLLINS about 1919 and they had 10 children: Stella, Thelma, Flossie, Willie III, Opal, Alice, Grace, Elsie, Lonnie and (my father) Douglas Mack Arthur ESTEP. Any information concerning this line will be appreciated.

Searching for parents of James Calvin EASTEP -- born 1 Mar 1884 south OH, married 1 Jan 1907 to Ruth Mae KETCHAM in Cleveland, OH, and died 14 Jul 1945 in Niles, Trumbull Co., OH. Possible information on parents: married about 1874, mother born about 1860 in south OH. James had 4 siblings: Alice who died 1936 in London, Madison Co., OH; and 3 unknown brothers who may have died in Springfield, Clark Co., OH.

Looking for Eli E. ESTEP / EASTEP (spelled both ways). He was located on 1910 Johnson Co., AR census with 2 children, Leonard and Hester, and a wife named Martha. Then he had a son Walter, born 1922 in Johnson Co., AR, with a wife, Ella Jane (KELLEY) EASTEP. Eli was not on the 1920 Johnson Co., AR census. Any suggestions?

Seeking information regarding Cyrenius Wait EASTEPP (b. c1852) who married Amanda Jane BURKEHART 29 Jun 1874 in Pulaski Co., KY. Their daughter, Sarah Frances EASTEPP (b. 24 Mar 1878), married Samuel Tilman DENHAM 17 Sep 1899 in Pulaski Co., KY. Sarah and Samuel migrated to Decatur, Macon Co., IL and both died there in 1950, 1951. Thanks.
