(11-01) ESTEP - ESTEPP:
Hello! I recently found the ESTEP website and have found it very informative. I was wondering if you know of anyone I could contact concerning the ESTEPP spelling. I am of course interested in my immediate family but am most interested in finding the origin of this spelling. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
(11-02) ESTEP - HALL:
How old was Sampson ESTEP when he married Molly HALL? Was she a Native American or where did she grow up? Sampson was my great great grandfather.
[NOTE by Nova Lemons: On page 180 of the Thomas Estep, Sr. book Sampson's death certificate had him born 2 Oct 1831 in TN and dying 3 Jun 1914 in Bush, Laurel Co., KY. His wife at that time was Molly Smith who was born circa 1888, making her about 57 years younger than her husband. They married in 1910 and had one daughter born 1 March 1912. Sampson was the son of Joseph and Jane (Hammonds) Estep. This is all I could find on Molly. Perhaps someone else can add more.]

(11-04) ESTEP - LETCHWALT:
Seeking lineage for the other brothers of Thomas ESTEP 1709 of Frederick Co., MD. I have seen the book and my lineage is not a part of it, I think! I have seen them listed as Richard b. c1694 and Alexandria b. c1698.
My ESTEPs are from Charles County, MD (still there) and I have traced them back to a Thomas ESTEP c1770 who married Mary LETCHWALT (other spellings) 4 Mar 1797. 2 children: John L. and Catherine B. c1800 both. Thanks for your help.
(11-05) ESTEP:
Seeking a probate record (will) for Zachariah ESTEP (b. c1761 Frederick Co., MD). I need records for him and I am trying to get new patriot William ESTEP (b. 20 Mar 1734 MD) accepted for DAR. Also need wife of Zach. Death date and place? Need to connect Zach. to John ESTEP (son b. c1786). William ESTEP was the father of Zach.
(11-06) ESTEP - McCOY:
My great-grandmother was Sarah Moore Wolford McCOY. After the feud, she (as verbal knowledge) had my grandma Maude Ellen McCOY with Jonce ESTEP? Maude was born 20 Dec 1895 in Pike Co., KY. I don't know much else and would appreciate any help.
[NOTE by Nova: Pam, I need your last name to include here for there are other Pams. This will help us know which one you are. Thanks.]
